It’s an honour to support you in your health, wellness and life pursuits, and I would love to help with yours. I mainly treat acute and chronic pain, digestive disorders, stress and anxiety, children’s health, and many more. Outside of the clinic, I love growing food and medicine with the family, making music, and exploring the wild together.
I get that acupuncture might still be new to many people and can seem mysterious. I feel one of the most important things in healthcare is providing a patient-centred approach, where patients can understand the treatment plan and feel good about it. And that gets better results too.
My passion for Chinese medicine began in 2005 when I experienced its therapeutic successes firsthand while researching geography in Tibet. After university I returned to live in China and study Mandarin, Chinese massage, and qigong. Later I completed graduate studies in human geography at SFU, researching environmental health in SW China’s Indigenous communities,. went on to study Chinese medicine at Pacific Rim College. I remain amazed by the ways that different understandings of people and place support deeper insights into medicine and health.
